4/52

This was inspired by a Clickin' Mom, who decided to get in front of the camera with her kids. And, I finally figured out how to get bigger pictures! I see many things I could/should work on with PP'ing, but I'm hesitant to open that can of worms because I really want to nail SOOC shots first.

3/52 A Random Act of Kindness

My DS and I were at a bakery. A man came over, made smilie and funny faces at my DS, and then went back to his seat. A few minutes later, he walked over from the counter, put this on the table, and walked away. I barely had time to yell "thank you" before he was out the door.

Inside the bag was this slice of deliciousness! I've never had anything like that happen to me before, and was quite taken by his kindness. I thought maybe my DS reminded him of someone he knows, or knew. Whatever it was, I was grateful. And so were my kids!

2/52 My little helper.

I love that helping me clean is still so fun for my kids! I'm still trying to figure out my flash. Here's how I'm doing so far.

The rehab begins.

Well, my Dad's surgery went very well, and he's now home and beginning the recovery and rehab process. We are all so thankful here that he got a "warning sign," and that he should actually feel a lot better than before. This means he should have lots more energy to run after the grandkids! Thank you to all for your thoughts and prayers during this stressful time. Now go get some exercise and eat a healthy snack :).

1/52 Not such a great start.

Let's hope that the rest of the year gets better than this. My Dad had a heart attack and is scheduled for a bypass tomorrow. I don't think I'll have time to take many pics this week, so here's one of my favorite snaps of my Dad and son from a few months back, SOOC. Here's to healing...
